the admissions process
Our admissions process at Peak Centre Academy is based on a combination of academic and athletic ability. Students must have an above-average academic standing with strong learning skills in their current school and be playing at a competitive level in sports.
The following outlines the steps of the admissions process for Peak Centre Academy:
We encourage interested students to not only come and take a tour with their parents but to come and try a day at Peak Centre Academy.
The best way for a young student/ athlete to discover our unique academic, physical and social environment is to “Live a Day at Peak”.
Here at Peak Centre Academy we feel that this is the most important step in the admissions process. We invite you to contact Alex Stewart at 613-800-5965 or e-mail astewart@peakcentre.ca, to make an appointment to tour the school, schedule your son or daughter’s day at Peak and ask any questions that you may have. Please note that we strongly encourage this step but that it is not obligatory. You may proceed to Step 2 prior.
Complete our online registration form. Please note that the following documents are required in order for an application to be complete:
- Copy of your child’s birth certificate

Please download our Confidential Reference Forms. The Personal References and Athletic Reference must be filled out by someone who is well acquainted with the student but not related and must be completed and sent directly to Peak Centre Academy. A completed reference form must be received by Peak Centre Academy prior to the interview
The goal of the interview process is to determine the suitability of a child for the school. Academic, athletic, social abilities and potential are taken into consideration.
In the interest of fairness in the enrolment process, we have moved away from a first come, first serve approach. We will now assess all applicants who meet the round 1 application deadline to make a more informed enrolment decision. Please note that this means some suitable children may be declined offers of contracts due to lack of space. All applicants will participate in individual and group assessments.
Results of your child’s assessment will be communicated by email. Successful applicants will be offered a student agreement to attend Peak Centre Academy. Formal acceptance of an offer is made by providing appropriate payment(s) and signatures, as described in the document entitled “Enrolment Contract”, and by returning it to Admissions within one week of the time it was offered.
